The Cup

Serinity Young, adjunct assistant professor in QC’s Department of Classical, Middle Eastern and Asian Languages and Cultures, introduces The Cup, a 1999 film depicting the efforts of young Tibetan monks to find a television set, so they can watch World Cup soccer. At this event, William McClure, QC Dean of Arts and Humanities and a professor in the Department of Classical, Middle Eastern and Asian Languages and Cultures, will announce QC’s new minor in Himalayan studies.
