Queens College Art Center | The First 25 Years in Rosenthal Library
In celebrating our silver anniversary, Trifecta offers a contemporary viewing of artists previously shown at Queens College Art Center. Each featured artist was selected by an Art Center curator to represent various themes of the Center’s 25-year history. Sid Kerner’s photographs and Anna Bisso’s mixed media (Suzanna Simor’s choice), Mikhail Gubin’s multimedia pieces (Alexandra de Luise’s selection), and Howard Lerner’s sculpture (Tara Mathison’s pick), works originally presented as well current, are juxtaposed in the context of the curators’ own research. At Queens College Art Center (Benjamin S. Rosenthal Library, Level 6). Opening Reception with Curators’ and Artists’ Talks: Thursday, September 20, 5-8 PM (Talks 6-7 PM); Exhibition: September 6—October 26. Free and open to the public.
